The Shen

Represents an expansion beyond ourselves, to fulfil a purpose that grows beyond what we understand ourselves to be.

From early agricultural society, we wanted to move from the field (Tian) as we are connected to the heavens, which represents Shen, which phonetically means expansion.

The idea is that our lives have a purpose, that it’s not just about us but us in the world. My life has a curriculum or purpose in this world.
